Ingredients for chicken biryani
- 3/4 kg Chicken Pieces
- 2 cups Basmati Rice
- 2 Potatoes
- 1 cup beaten Yogurt (curd)
- 3 sliced onion
- 2 tsp Garam Masala Powder
- 1 medium Tomato chopped
- 1/2 cup Tomato Puree
- 2 tsp Red Chilli Powder
- 1 tsp Turmeric Powder
- 1 tsp Roasted cumin powder
- 1/2 tsp Green Cardamom Powder
- 1 tsp Coriander Powder
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 cup Warm Milk
- Saffron a pinch
- 7 tbsp Ghee / Oil
- Grind to Paste:
- 1 tsp Ginger Paste
- 1/4 cup Coriander Leaves
- 1/4 cup Mint Leaves
- 1/2 tsp Garlic Paste
- 3 -4 Green Chillies
- For garnish
- 2 tbsp Green Coriander Leaves
- 2 tbsp Mint Leaves (Pudina)
Chicken Biryani recipes easy cooking Process
Chicken biryani recipes Indian: Make a fine paste of all the ingredients under the Grinder to paste with a tablespoon of water.
- Mix garam masala, tomato puree, a green paste made earlier, red chilli powder, yogurt, turmeric powder, roasted cumin powder, coriander powder, and salt.
- Marinate the chicken pieces with this mixture and keep aside for 3-5 hours in a refrigerator.
- Chop the potatoes in a medium-size and put some turmeric powder and salt on it.
- Heat oil in a frying pan and Fry the potatoes. Keep it aside.
- Fry the onions in this oil, until golden brown
- Take the warm milk in a small bowl and soak the saffron in it and keep aside.
- Add marinated chicken pieces and cook for 12 minutes and stir it occasionally.
- Now add chopped tomato and beaten curd and cook until the oil separates from the mixture.
- Check the salt and add the rice and mix well.
- Add 4 cups of water to the rice. Mix saffron with milk and add to it.
- Add the cardamom powder and Frying potatoes, after Stir mixture once.
- Cover the container lid and cook on low flame till the rice is done completely.
- After 20min take it out on a plate and garnish with green coriander and mint leaves and serve hot.
